The Sesame Street Library

Posted by PicasaI scored a few of these Sesame Street Library books at a used book sale - they are so cool.  Remember how infuriating it was when the grown-ups wouldn't believe that Snuffalupagus was real?  :)  And how sad it was when Mr. Hooper died?  How funny Ernie and Bert were?  One of these days I'm going to have to do a Retro TV and Toys post about our Old School Sesame Street dvd's...

  1. Oh, I love these! I totally remember when Mr. Hooper died. My parents told me about it beforehand, so I'd be ready for it. And yes, I totally remember when no one believe in Snuffy! I love the Old School Sesame Street DVDs, too. And Christmas Eve on Sesame Street!

  3. I totally love Sesame Streets! The books are very fun to read but the old ones are hard to find nowadays. I don't think I own any to be honest but my sister-in-law has quite a few that we borrow all the time!

  4. Sesame Street is such a special part of our childhoods... I don't think it's the same nowadays - there's too many other shows out there for kids to watch so they don't have the same fixation with the show like we did back in the day.
